House Examination Rules & Regulation
HOUSE EXAMINATION:-
1. The eligibility to sit for Annual Examination in B.A., B.Com., B.Sc. I, II, III will be decided on the basis of two prescribed House Examinations. The student must obtain minimum 35% marks in these examinations .
2. Any student who remains absent in House Examination due to illness or any other cause has to
produce documentary proof of Medical Certificate within three days. Medical Certificate issued by Govt. Hospital only is admissible. After three days no medical certificate will be entertained.
3. Any student taking part in Sports or other competition during the days of examination will have to take prior permission from Principal and must inform the Controller of Examination, without getting prior sanction the absence for examination will be fined @ Rs.25/- per paper.

Examination Rules For Annual Exams
REVISED RULES OF THE MAHARSHI DAYANAND UNIVERSITY : |
1. Introduction of internal assessment marks in B.A/B.Sc./B.Com. (Pass & Honours) and
B.Sc. (Home Sc.) Part-1 courses w.e.f the session 2005-06:
There shall be 10% marks or 10% marks for internal evaluation based upon attendance
And class tests/house examination in each theory paper, bas under:
(a) Attendance .
= 5% or 5
(b) Class tests / House exam. = 5% or
The weight age of 5% marks for attendance will be given only to those students who have attended more than the minimum requirement of 75% lectures in each theory paper.
The weight age of remaining 5% will be based on the marks obtained by the students in House Examinations as detailed above. Fraction of marks below half (0.5) and above will be counted to the next whole.
2.It is compulsory to obtain 25% marks in the House Examination.
3.It is essential to attend 75% lectures in each subject. for Science students 75% attendance is compulsory in each Theory and Practical.
Only on fulfilling these three conditions, students can sit for the regular examinations.
