Welcome to Saraswati Mahila Mahavidyalaya, an institution of higher education that besides imparting formal education within the traditional university system, inspires its students to discover their own standards of excellence and to diligently work towards fulfilment of their chosen goals.

          This is the only institution in this part of Haryana that has been providing a platform to young girls from this region  to think , to imagine, to dream and to create a nitche for themselves by staying competitive in this volatile world that has become a global village, for over two decades.

          Situated on National Highway No. 2, 65 Kms. away from Delhi on Delhi-Agra Road, the college draws students from nearby towns, villages and townships.  Affiliated to M.D. University, Rohtak, the college is being run by a progressive society: Saraswati Shishu Mandir Prabandh Samiti (Regd), which is committed to providing quality education to young girls of the area.  It offers all the three traditional streams Arts, Commerce and Science.  Recognizing the fact that rapid advancement in the field of Science and Technology where knowledge and skill acquired over the years is being rendered obsolete & redundant in months, and accepting that traditional graduation and P.G. Courses that were enough to ensure a successful career & a wholesome life are not sufficient today, the college in order to provide wider choice and more opportunities to the students in their own town has introduced BCA, BSc. Comp. Sc. and B.Com. Comp. App.   To enrich and add value to the existing traditional degree courses some career oriented add-on courses, both certificate courses & diploma courses have been introduced.

          In the healthy environs of this institution, one can find not only a beautiful building, lush green lawns, well-stocked library, well equipped science labs and gymnasium, air-conditioned Computer labs, a conducive study environment and encouraging opportunities for excelling in sports and co-curricular activities but also a loving, humane atmosphere that spells- we care.

          At Saraswati Mahila Mahavidyalaya, we strive to tap and harness the latent talent of young spartens by exposing them to various associations, clubs and societies both literary and extra curricular so that they can explore their inner faculties not only in the academic hub but also in cultural- dramatics, dance, debating, music, fine arts but also sports and athletic activities.  Teaching learning programs incorporate personal mentoring & interactive sessions with peers & predecessors during  alumni meets so as to achieve multi dimensional growth and instill in students dignity and discipline, character and confidence; knowledge and proficiency, a sense of duty and respect for freedom, to enable them to meet the challenges of life with courage & elan, accept the trials and tribulations with equanimity and neither brag when they win, nor be bogged down by bad times nor ever sit on their oars in the moments of glory.
